On this day, wake up early in the morning, take a bath, and wear clean yellow-colored clothes.
Clean the temple and install an idol or picture of the Goddess Kushmanda. After that, light a diya and offer chandan, akshat, sindoor, and flowers.
Flowers, seasonal fruits, and sweets are traditionally offered to Goddess Kushmanda.
Offering Malpua as Bhog to the Goddess is considered extremely auspicious, as it symbolises happiness and prosperity.
During the worship, recite the Durga Chalisa or the Durga Saptashati. Then complete the rituals by performing Aarti and distributing Prasad.
