In this article, we will tell you simple and easy remedies mentioned in our religious scriptures to complete the fast when the moon is not visible.
Auspicious time of Karwa Chauth
Moonrise Time: Moonrise on this day will be at 08:16 PM.
Auspicious time of puja: The auspicious time of puja will be from 05:38 pm to 06:56 pm.
Sargi time: It will be from 03:30 am to 05:30 am.
Rules for Breaking the Fast
Moon on Lord Shiva's forehead: A crescent Moon always resides on the forehead of Lord Shiva. If the moon is not visible in the sky, then visit the idol of Lord Shiva kept in the home temple. Offer water and milk to them and ask for forgiveness.
Disha worship and Arghya: Astrology states that if the Moon is not visible due to clouds, then look in the almanac and note down the exact time of moonrise in your city. And face the east or north-east direction, meditate on the Moon, chant mantras, and break the fast by offering water.
Worship by making a moon on a heap of rice: Spread a red cloth on a sacred platform and make a small heap of rice on it. Make a round shape from rice and offer Roli-Akshat on it. Considering it as the real moon, offer Arghya and complete the puja.
Worship of Peepal tree: The Peepal tree is worshiped, so if the Moon is not visible at night, then offer water to the Peepal tree, because it is believed that all the Gods reside in the Peepal tree.
Keep These Things in Mind
Take blessings of the elders of your house or mother-in-law.
Do not bring any kind of bad feelings to mind, as God sees your devotion and feelings.
After completing the puja, break the fast only by taking water from your husband's hands.
