The auspicious month of Sawan is here! The whole month of Sawan is dedicated to shiva. Somvar (Monday) which is dedicated to lord shiva is most significant during Sawan month. According to the Hindu calendar, the month of Sawan begins after the end of Ashadha Purnima or Guru Purnima and is the fifth month according to the Hindu calendar.
It is believed worshipping lord shiva in this month with full devotion takes all your worries away. The Sawan month holds great importance in the Hindu culture as it starts the festivities that continue until the end of the year. Banana tree
