The month of Sawan is very dear to Mahadev. It is said that in the month of Sawan, Mahadev can be pleased very easily because in this month Mata Parvati had pleased him by doing penance to get him and only after that he married Mata Parvati. According to the scriptures, from Devshayani Ekadashi of Ashadh month, Lord Vishnu goes to Kshir Sagar for yoga nidra. From this day till Dev Uthani Ekadashi, Mahadev runs the world. The month of Sawan also falls during the conduct of Shiva. In such a situation, their power increases manifold in this month. This time Sawan 2021 is going to start from 25th July. It is advisable not to do some tasks in the month of Sawan, otherwise Shiva may also become angry.
Don’t fight in the family
The month of Sawan is dedicated to Lord Shiva-Gauri and their family, so do not cause any kind of trouble or quarrel in the family during this month. Give love and respect to your spouse, do not speak abusive words.
Abstinence from alcohol
Things like meat and liquor disturb the mind and the month of Sawan is the month of devotion. In this, meat and alcohol should be avoided. Due to disturbed mind, a person is not able to do any work properly. One should lead a sattvik life in this month of Lord Shiva.
Don’t sleep during the day
Avoid sleeping during the day in this month. If needed, you can take a half-hour nap. More and more Mahadev should be meditated in Sawan.
Don’t hurt the weak
Poor, old, weak and cattle all beings are very dear to the Lord. God does not differentiate between any creature. In such a situation, we should not harass anyone. By torturing the weak, this causes pain to Shiva and he becomes angry.
