The Nine Planets (Navagraha) in Astrology

In our Hindu Astrology, there are nine Planets/Grahas. These are Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn. Rahu and Ketu are astronomical points where the Moons orbit intersects the apparent path of the Sun around the earth. Rahu and Ketu are also called chhaya graha.

Navagraha are nine heavenly bodies (as well as deities) that influence human life on Earth in Hinduism and Hindu astrology. The term is derived from nava (Sanskrit: नव "nine") and graha (Sanskrit: ग्रह "planet, seizing, laying hold of, holding"). Note that Bhudevi (Earth), Uranus and Neptune are not considered as nine direction graha. The seven days of the week in the Hindu calendar also correspond with the Navagraha, and are named accordingly in various languages of the Indian subcontinent.

The nine planets (Surya, Chandra, Shukr, Budh, Brihaspati, Shukr, Shani, Rahu and Ketu) have different locations, positions, vehicles and symbols. Come, today we talk about the nine planets because according to the astrologer the position of the planets has a special importance in our life.

Chandra :-  
The Chandra is also known as Som. The appearance of Chandra Dev is beautiful, attractive, young. Chandra Dev holds a Mugadar and a lotus flower in his hands. The chariot of Chandra dev used to walk in the sky all night, in which ten horses and antelope of white color are tied. Chandra dev is called lord of monday, that is, by worshiping chandra on monday, you can also improve the position of planet chandra.

Guru :-
Guru is considered god of war. Guru is known as Angaraka in Sanskrit language. He is known by the name of Bhumi. Guru is the god of war who follows celibacy. His nature is Tamasi. They also represent energy, confidence and ego.

Budh :-
Budh Dev is the son of Chandra and Tara. Budhdev is considered to be the deity and protector of Business. The nature of Budh is Rajoguni . Budh has a Mugadar and a gradient in his hands. There is a Ramgarh temple of Budh people believe he came there on a flying lion.

Brihaspati :-
Brihaspati  is considered the Guru of all the Gods. Brihaspati is the incarnation of Dharma. He is considered the opponent of Shukracharya. Because Shukracharya is considered the guru of the demons. Brihaspati is said to be the main proponent of prayer and sacrifice. He is called the priest of the gods. Satoguni is the nature of Brihaspati and he represents knowledge. Brihaspati carries a stick, a lotus and pen in hands.

Shukr :-
Shukra is the son of Bhrigu and Usha. Shukra is considered to be the teacher of demons and the guru of Asuras. Friday is dedicated to Shukra. Shukr is royal in nature. He represent wealth, happiness and reproduction. He has a white complexion and gullible face.

Shani :-
Shani is called the main celestial planet.The nature of Shani Dev is Tamas. Shani enhances hard way teaching, career and longevity. The word Shani is derived from the word 'Shanye Kramati Saah', which means to walk slowly. Shanidev can complete the circumambulation of the Surya in 30 years. Shani Dev is black in color and carries a sword, daggers and arrows in his one hand. Shani Dev's rides on a black crow.

Rahu :-
Rahu is considered to be the head of demon snakes. Rahu is the center of the eclipse eclipse swallowing the Surya and Chandra. The appearance of Rahu is like a dragon. Rahu has no head and he rides on a chariot of eight horses. Rahu Tamas Asura and Rahu Kaal are considered highly inauspicious.

Ketu:-
Ketu is a ferocious planet like Mangal and Ketu also represents many areas that come in the representation of Mangal. This planet is the owner of three constellations , Ashwini, Magha and Mool Nakshatra. Ketu with Rahu  Kalsarpa Yog in horoscope.
